End of the Summer
September 1st, 2008 Posted in General, PersonalIn my mind there is a psychological barrier between August and September. August is without doubt all about summer whereas September is all about heading back to school / university - the exact opposite of summer in my book.
So to wrap up my summer -
- I had a 9 week internship with Scottish and Newcastle
- I turned 22
- I took in some of the sights and delights of the Edinburgh Festivals
- …and not a lot else really.
Blogging during August was poor as a friend was borrowing my laptop. I was mostly wandering about stealing other laptops for short periods of time, which isn’t that conducive to blogging. My only other option would have been to write blogs in work which would of course have been very naughty and I would never do that.
After reading this post back to myself it occurs to me that it lacks any substance whatsoever. It could be summarized as a goulash of self obsessed drival. I shall attempt to blog with some sort of content in the next while, possibly as a follow up to my post on ambition which seemed to attract quite a lot of attention.
Hang in there dear reader - till then I leave you with this humorous swipe at the stereotypical “English Major”.
